Skintag

The tiniest part of me
pooling away
a fleshy DNA raindrop
plump, painless
unless pulled
mocking, dimpling
my smooth, pink veneer
my arms, hands, nose, ears
sneer away in amusement
a third cousin
twice removed at best
worthless, aimless
limp, pimpled but
still part of me
nonetheless
for now
